Acumatica Assumptions

Client Responsibilities:

Hardware/OS, Software Extensions or Environment Requirements

Client is responsible for maintaining an environment that is equivalent to Acumatica’s system requirements for computer devices, operating systems, internet connectivity, and browser settings. Please refer to the attached PDF (Acumatica System Requirements v2018 R2) for requirements.

Previous Customizations

In the event that customizations have been made to the Acumatica product and/or any third-party products (such as, but not limited to, Custom Forms, Fields, Automation Workflows, Records, etc.), unless these items have been identified in this SOW, these items will be considered outside the scope of this SOW and additional charges may apply. Blytheco is indemnified for the impacts of any customizations that are not included, identified or disclosed in this SOW.

Backup and Restore

The client will have a complete, tested and "safe" snapshot of any and all systems prior to the services being performed by Blytheco. If restoration from a snapshot is required, client will provide access to a resource that can operate and restore this information. The client is solely responsible for all costs associated with data recovery or data restoration required in the event a restore is required and full snapshots are not available. This applies to both on premise and cloud solutions.

Test Environment

Blytheco recommends that a Sandbox environment is provisioned for customization package deployment, as developing customizations in a production environment may inadvertently cause disruption to the live environment. Blytheco will take all reasonable precautions to minimize disruption to the client’s live environment in the case that a Sandbox environment is not used, although we cannot guarantee that disruptions will not occur.

Access

System Access

Client will provide Blytheco with proper access to Acumatica, including one or more users with full access rights. If the environment is small business edition or user based licensing, client will provide Blytheco with one or more full access user access licenses to Blytheco consultants to perform services. Client will coordinate and implement all IT functions as needed to assist users with the local workstation setups required to access the program. Access to the client environment may be requested and/or required during or after normal business hours and the client will need to make resources available for access to their systems. Additional charges may apply.

Data

Condition of Data

For SOWs that include data, condition of client’s data in Acumatica is the responsibility of the client. Client is aware that successful data conversion is dependent upon client-conforming data to standard import template rules. Client should be prepared to extract data from legacy system and assemble into a Acumatica standard object import template. Acumatica provides standard object imports for most common data. Not all data is a suitable candidate for importing. It is expected the client will scrub and validate data before and after it is imported into Acumatica.

Blytheco shall not be responsible for any data integrity or data anomaly issues with the existing source and/or destination systems. In the event that data integrity, data anomalies, or other unforeseen data issues cause the time required to complete the implementation project as outlined herein to exceed the time estimates set forth above, additional effort will be completed on a time-and-materials basis. Should these factors be present, a change in scope may be required; in extreme cases, Blytheco may not be able to complete the data import.

Maintenance

Based on the anniversary date of Client's subscription, Sales Orders which include a product purchase, maintenance or service plan price for maintenance and updates may be pro-rated to your existing software plan based on the date of the original purchase.
