Sage 100 Development Assumptions

Client Responsibilities:

Hardware/OS, Software Extensions or Environment Requirements

Client is responsible for ensuring that hardware and operating systems meet or exceed the minimum requirements as listed in the Supported Platform Matrix. All software must be compatible as listed in the Integrated Solutions Compatibility Matrix, specific to their upgraded software version. Client must ensure that they have received and reviewed both documents. IIS and required server roles will be installed and configured on the appropriate application server (if not already installed).

Previous Customizations

In the event that customizations have been made to the Sage product and/or any third-party products (such as, but not limited to, Programs, Data Dictionaries, Forms, Tables, Views, Stored Procedures, Reports, etc.), unless these items have been identified in this SOW, these items will be considered outside the scope of this SOW and additional charges may apply. Blytheco is indemnified for the impacts of any customizations that are not included, identified or disclosed in this SOW.

Backup and Restore

The client will have a complete and tested backup on any and all systems prior to the services being performed by Blytheco. If restoration from a backup is required, client will provide access to a resource that can operate and restore this information. The client is solely responsible for all costs associated with data recovery or data restoration required in the event a restore is required and full backups are not available.

Test Environment

Blytheco recommends that client have a test database and/or a test environment prior to Blytheco performing services or installing additional software. Utilizing a Test Environment will minimize client risk to existing data by utilizing it prior to upgrading or installing applications or modifications to the production system. Blytheco can create test environments at the client request and may require a test environment within the scope of services.

Access

System Access

Client will provide Blytheco with proper access to the server, workstations and required folders to perform services associated with the upgrade, including administrative passwords, current Sage 100 password for logging in as Administrator, remote access as required, and ample disk space for creating company data copies. Client will coordinate and implement all IT functions as needed to assist users with the local workstation setups required to access the Sage 100 program. Access to the client environment may be requested and/or required during or after normal business hours and the client will need to make resources available for access to their systems. Additional charges apply.

In order to help keep implementation costs to a minimum, Client can provide Blytheco with a remote connection that will allow for configuration to be done directly on your system. Blytheco may keep a copy of your configuration in a virtual environment setting for Development, testing and training purposes. If Client desires Blytheco to utilize their remote connection resources, remote connection charges apply.

Networking Issues

Blytheco is not responsible for any networking setups or issues, including SQL Server Management and connectivity. Administrative rights and full access to the server and appropriate subfolders will be provided to Blytheco.

Server Downtime and Rebooting

If the current installation of Sage 100 resides on the same server that will be used for the upgraded version installation, the client is aware that there will be required downtime and server re-booting; scheduling rebooting during non-business hours may require additional charges.

Data

Condition of Data

For SOWs which include data, condition of client’s data in Sage 100 is the responsibility of the client. Client is aware that successful data conversion is dependent upon client-conforming data to standard import template rules. Client should be prepared to extract data from Legacy system and assemble into a Sage 100 standard object import template. Sage 100 provides standard object imports for most common data. Not all data is a suitable candidate for importing. It is expected the client will scrub and validate data before and after it is imported into Sage 100.

Blytheco shall not be responsible for any data integrity or data anomaly issues with the existing source and/or destination systems. In the event that data integrity, data anomalies, or other unforeseen data issues cause the time required to complete the implementation project as outlined herein to exceed the time estimates set forth above, additional effort will be completed on a time-and-materials basis. Should these factors be present, a change in scope may be required; in extreme cases, Blytheco may not be able to complete the data import.

Maintenance

Pro-rating M&S and Subscriptions

Based on the anniversary date of Client's Maintenance and Support Plan or subscription, Sales Orders which include a product purchase, maintenance or service plan price for maintenance and updates is pro-rated to your existing software plan based on the date of the original purchase.
